Pink Shell was born in Huelva in 1955. From small demonstrated its good capacity for painting and crafts, although it was not until just over a decade that began to shift his artistic dream of the heart to the canvas.
In 1989 he moved with his family Madrid, although light and the coastal landscape of Huelva will be an important inspiration for the creation of original works and mark the style of his paintings.
He began taking classes in drawing and painting in Asturias in 1998. During this period, Concha painted still lifes and marine oil on panel. The force of nature and intensity of the colors present in this rich region also influence the work of the painter who then began to take its first steps.
Back in Madrid, Concha continued his artistic training at the School of Painting in Las Rozas, making his first drawings in charcoal, pencil, chalk and pastel. Slowly will define his style: bright, energetic, spontaneous and natural, and to prefer the work done in oil on canvas.
Pink Shell has had the opportunity to exhibit their works on several occasions:
- October 2002: Exhibition Hall of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos, Madrid.
- March to June 2008: group exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura de Las Rozas.
- March to June 2009: group exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura de Las Rozas.
